About Erika Murphy
Erika Murphy is a portfolio manager in the Global Institutional Solutions (GIS) group at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals. GIS is an investment team within Fidelity's Asset Management Solutions division, an integrated investment, distribution, and client service organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of the institutional marketplace.
In her role, Ms. Murphy manages custom multi-asset class mandates for institutional investors and financial intermediaries. The team is dedicated to serving the needs of institutional asset owners that seek strategic support, guidance, customization, and active allocation.
Before joining Fidelity in 2022, Ms. Murphy was a managing director at Wellington Management, where she designed and managed custom multi-asset, multi-manager portfolios for large institutional clients globally. She also played a key role in Wellington’s sustainability and climate research initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked as an investment professional at GAM’s hedge fund of funds, and she served as an analyst within Ernst & Young’s valuation advisory practice. She has been in the financial industry since 2005.
Ms. Murphy earned her bachelor of science degree in business administration and finance with honors from Villanova University. She is also a CFA® charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA).

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation is offered by the CFA Institute. To obtain the CFA charter, candidates must pass three exams demonstrating their competence, integrity, and extensive knowledge in accounting, ethical and professional standards, economics, portfolio management, and security analysis, and must also have at least 4,000 hours of qualifying work experience completed in a minimum of 36 months, among other requirements.
