Tax advantages for Connecticut residents
With the CHET Advisor 529 Plan, Connecticut residents may:
- Deduct up to $5,000 of taxable income annually from Connecticut state income taxes ($10,000 for joint filers).
- Deduct amounts contributed from the donor's Connecticut state income tax in the succeeding five years, so long as the contributions weren't deducted in the year in which they were made.
